Fetch is a free app that enables users to scan (snap) their receipts for points. Once enough points have been earned, users can redeem their points for free gift cards. How does Fetch work?
The way Fetch works is fairly simple for the user. All you have to do is download the app, review your specific offers (so you can earn extra points), snap all your receipts (including email receipts), and redeem your earned points for gift cards or other rewards of your choosing! This is the most basic usage of the app and is perfect for casual Fetchers. For users that want to get the most out of the app, there is a large variety of options, clubs, offers, and functions that can assist in quickly cultivating thousands of points. Where do I download Fetch?

Step 1 | Download the App
You can’t get free gift cards from Fetch if you don’t have the app. Go to the (Android) Google Play Store or the (Apple) iOS Store to install the app on your mobile phone or tablet.
Step 2 | Snap All Your Receipts
Fetch makes scanning receipts quick and easy. Just open the app, click the camera icon at the bottom of the screen, choose “Snap” and snap away. Can Fetch scan email receipts?
Yes! You can even securely connect your email accounts and Amazon account, to Fetch, to securely and instantly scan all of your online receipts for points. After tapping the camera icon, choose the “eReceipt” option and watch the points roll in. Learn more about Fetch and email receipts here!
Step 3 | Redeem Your Points
There are a variety of ways to use your Fetch points. The most popular is to redeem them for free gift cards. Fetch offers a huge variety of gift cards, including retail giants like Amazon, and Target. You can get your favorite fast food, for free, at joints like Taco Bell or Burger King, or dine in at restaurants like Chilis or Outback Steakhouse. You can even order in with an UberEats gift card. Not to mention a huge variety of gift cards for home improvement, beauty, health, travel, pets, and many more.
If you are feeling generous with your points, you can donate them to a charity of your choice. Select “Charity” under the “Rewards” tab to choose from a variety of noble charities like Habitat for Humanity, Water.org, American Cancer Society, and many more.
If you are feeling lucky, you can use your points to enter the Fetch sweepstakes. With prizes like $1000 Visa cards, it could be worth a roll of the dice. The more points you use, the more likely you are to win.
Fetch Referrals
Referrals are one of the easiest and fastest ways to earn thousands of extra points. Simply go to the “Me” tab, at the bottom of the app, and click the “Refer a Friend” tab. You will see a 6-character code of letters and/or numbers. You can choose to text, email, or share it with a friend or family member. Once they install the app and scan their first receipt, the points will be automatically added to your accounts.
You can even see a list of your successful and pending referrals by tapping the “My Referral” tab, at the top of the page.
Pro-Tip: You can give a “nudge” to anyone that hasn’t followed through on their referral. This will send a friendly reminder to download or scan their first receipt.

Yes, one of our primary goals is to ensure that your personal information and data are always secure. Feel free to explore how safe Fetch is!
Receipt snapping limit on Fetch
Fetch currently has a limit of submitting 35 receipts within a 7-day period.
This 35-receipt limit is based on the date you snap the receipt, not the checkout date. This simply means that over a rolling 7-day period, you can snap up to 35 receipts. If you hit that limit, you can snap more of your receipts as the oldest of your receipts fall outside of that 7-day window.
If you are waiting to upload a receipt with a special offer, it will still be awarded points as long as the checkout date is within the offer timeline.
eReceipts that are processed on your account will not count towards this 35 receipt limit.
There’s No Point Limit

Does Fetch Support Spanish or Other Languages?
Fetch is proud to support both English and Spanish-speaking users. We are currently working on adding support for other languages, so that everyone can easily snap their receipts and earn points for free gift cards.
Can I snap the receipts that I’ve picked off the ground?
Fetch is addicting, we know, and you might want to snap literally every receipt in your sight. As tempting as it is to grab a receipt that was left behind at a register or in a parking lot, please resist the urge. Per our rules, we’re asking our users to snap only the receipts that are from the purchases that are made by them. By playing fairly, you help us provide the maximum savings to our wonderful Fetch Family!
I accidentally snapped the same receipt twice. Will I get banned?
So you find a receipt in your pocket and decide to snap it, and it turns out that you’ve already submitted it. What happens next? Our system is built the way that it accepts each receipt only once. If a duplicate is submitted, it will be rejected as a duplicate and no points will be added to your account.
We understand that this happens though, so no worries – as long as it’s an accident, you will be able to continue snapping!
Do points drop after the first few snaps?
When you join our Fetch Family, we want to give you a warm welcome! So while you’re learning how to navigate Fetch, snap receipts, and scan eReceipts, we’re adding some bonus points to your first few receipts. You will still be able to continue earning thousands of points after that, by completing the offers available on the Discover page of the app, and inviting your friends and family to join the Fetch Fam!
Will my points expire if I don’t use them until the end of the year?
The good news is they will not! If you don’t want to spend all your points on Christmas presents and save them until later, rest assured when the clock strikes twelve and the new year comes, the points will still be there!
However, make sure to keep snapping receipts as they will expire after 90 days of inactivity on the app (meaning no snaps, no redemptions, no GoodRx transactions). We don’t want this to happen, so we’ll notify you via the email address on your Fetch account and by text message before it’s too late!
How long do I have to wait for a reward to be processed? Can I speed up the processing
Congratulations on snagging a reward! This varies from user to user, but please keep in mind that it may take up to 72 hours to be fully processed. This is to ensure the security of your account and your hard-earned reward.
There’s currently no way to expedite the process, but we will send you an email and a pop-up notification as soon as it’s ready and waiting for you!
I can no longer see my Activity in the app.
Your activity and past receipts are still available in the app! They’ve just moved to a different section. You can access your receipt history, statistics, and point history by tapping on your point balance which is displayed in the upper, right-hand corner of your screen. Our Help Center article can help you navigate this section of the app.
